It’s a question making the rounds in Selma since earlier this month, when a bronze bust of Confederate Gen. Nathan Bedford Forrest vanished from atop a 7-foot-tall granite monument at Live Oak Cemetery. The bust, kept in the cemetery’s Confederate Circle, apparently was taken on the night of March 9, 2012, but no one noticed it was missing for a few days.
